Activities at Killarney Beach Camping Reserve

  • Fishing - Killarney Beach is one of the area’s prime fishing spots. Suitable for surf fishing or launching a boat for deeper waters, commonly caught species include whiting, snapper and flathead, with salmon also prominent during the winter months and garfish during summer.
  • Tower Hill State Game Reserve is a short drive to the east. This dormant volcano was Victoria’s first National Park in 1892 and in 1961 became a State Game Reserve. It is home to koalas, kangaroos, emus, many bird species and other wildlife, a number of walks, picnic spots and public areas make it a great place to visit.
  • Explore the village of Koroit with its fascinating Irish charm.
